Free Trial of Phosys

We offer a 30-day free trial of the basic Phosys software. The software is not crippled or restricted in any way. Included is 20Mb of disk space, enough for around 500-600 images.

Installing Phosys

  1. Download the Installation Guide (396Kb, PDF) if required.
  2. Click the download link below and save the file to an appropriate place on your computer such as the desktop:

    Phosys Windows Software
    Version 2.9.61

    Full Installation (setup_2_9_61.exe, 7.68Mb)

  3. Once the installation program has downloaded, double click the installation program on your desktop.
  4. The installer will guide you through installing the software.

How to start using Phosys

First download and install a template from our range. This will set up a fully functioning website for you to trail the software succesffuly.

Once a template has been installed click the following headings for simple to follow instructions regarding how to get started with Phosys in your free trial period.

Getting Started

  1. Start Phosys from the Start Menu, choose "Create Account" and enter your details.
  2. You must enter a valid email address or you will not receive the activation email.
  3. The activation email is immediately sent to you.
  4. Click on the link in the email to activate your account and start your free trial.
  5. Return to the Phosys software and "Login"

Install a template

  1. Go to our templates page to download any one of our templates designed for your 30 Day trail
  2. Select the template and download the .PPK file, save this to your computer
  3. Making sure that Phosys isn't running, double cick the downloaded package
  4. Phosys will ask you to confirm this action, click 'Yes' and wait a few seconds
  5. Phosys will start to install the necessary files to get you started and will notify you once everything has installed
  6. Restart Phosys and imediatley click the Synchronise button - this send all the information to the web server to create your web page.

Create your first album

  1. When you first start Phosys, the New Album Wizard is automatically displayed.
  2. Click the "Simple" button and enter an ID for the album, a title and a description.
  3. Click the "Finish " button to create the album.
  4. The new album is automatically selected for you to add pictures.

Add Pictures to the album

  1. Click the "Add Pictures" button (2) and choose "Select Files ..." from the menu.
  2. Select some image files from a folder (you can control and shift click to select multiple pictures).
  3. Choose the "Open" button and the pictures are added to the album.

Upload the pictures

  1. Click the "Synchronise" button (3) and wait until the pictures are uploaded.
  2. Click the "Online" button (4) and then select "Your Customer Site" or "Test Current Album" to view the images online.
